Kindergarten

Preschool (maternelle) follows the Preschool Education Cycle Program, a two-year cycle for 4- and 5-year-olds. Kindergarten for 5-year-olds is offered in every school; full-time kindergarten for 4-year-olds is offered in a growing number of schools. Learning happens mainly through play.
